ABOUT EVERLUX

A small firm, built by two people who care deeply about how homes are made.

Everlux is a residential design and construction firm based in Washington. We're founder-led, intentionally small, and building the kind of company we'd want to hire.

THE STORY

Why we started this.

Between the two of us, we've spent years working inside residential construction and design — watching talented builders and talented designers struggle to communicate across the gap between their trades. Small miscommunications became expensive problems. Beautiful drawings became compromised builds. Homeowners ended up as the referees in disputes they didn't sign up for.

We started Everlux because we wanted to close that gap. Not with bigger teams or more software, but with one coordinated team that actually talks to each other — design and construction under one roof, one vision, one accountable partner.

We started with an Everlux-owned custom home in Packwood, Washington. Designing it, building it, and learning — again — what good process actually looks like when nothing falls through the cracks. That project is the work we measure everything else against. Everlux is licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington State.

THE FOUNDERS

Amber & Ben.

Amber Xin, design lead at Everlux

CO-FOUNDER · LEADS DESIGN

Amber Xin

Amber leads the design side of Everlux. She's the one shaping the look, feel, and function of every project — from layout and flow to finishes, selections, and the cohesive design direction that pulls a space together.

Her eye is detail-obsessed in a way that rewards the people who live in the homes she designs. She believes good design isn't about what's on-trend — it's about what feels considered every time you walk through a room.

Responsible for design services, aesthetic direction, selections, and design deliverables.

Ben McIntyre, construction and operations at Everlux

CO-FOUNDER · LEADS CONSTRUCTION & OPERATIONS

Ben McIntyre

Ben leads the construction and operations side of Everlux. He's spent years in residential construction — framing, managing projects, coordinating subcontractors, and learning every trade from the inside. He's the kind of builder who notices the detail at the back of a closet most people would never check.

His job at Everlux is to make sure every project is grounded in feasibility, logistics, and budget reality. He's usually the first person a new client talks to. If you've contacted us, Ben has read your message.

Responsible for construction, operations, scheduling, subcontractors, and every new lead.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

A few things we hold on to.

A home is too important to be handed off between disconnected providers.

Every handoff is a chance for something to get lost. We keep the chain short.

Process is part of the product.

How a project runs is just as important as how the finished home looks. We take both seriously.

Design-forward doesn't mean impractical.

Good design should feel beautiful and work beautifully. If it's only one, we haven't done our job.

A firm should be the kind of firm its founders would hire.

That's the bar. Everything else follows from that.
