HOW WE WORK
Every Everlux project moves through a defined sequence of steps — so you always know what's happening, what's coming next, and who's responsible for what.
WHY IT MATTERS
Most residential projects don't fail because of bad carpentry or poor design. They fail because nobody owns the decisions in between — the calls that don't get returned, the selections that don't get made, the schedule that slips by three weeks before anyone notices.
We built Everlux's process to close those gaps. Every step has a clear owner. Every stage ends with a concrete deliverable and a decision. And at any point in the project, you can ask where things stand — and get a real answer, not a vague reassurance.
THE PROCESS
Whether you're hiring Everlux for design, construction, or both, your project moves through the same organized sequence. Here's what to expect at each stage.
01
INQUIRY
You send us a note through the contact form or by email. Share as much or as little as you want — we're looking for enough context to understand whether we might be a fit. We personally read every inquiry.
02
QUALIFICATION CALL
We follow up within two business days to set up a brief intro call — usually 15 to 20 minutes. Goal: understand your project at a high level, answer your initial questions, and figure out whether it makes sense to move forward to a consultation.
03
CONSULTATION
The consultation is a deeper working session — in person or over video, depending on where you are. We dig into scope, site or home conditions, timing, budget direction, and whether Everlux is the right team for the work. Some consultations are complimentary; some are paid, depending on service type. You'll always know which before we schedule.
04
PROPOSAL OR PRECONSTRUCTION
After the consultation, we put together next steps — usually an estimate, a proposal, or a paid preconstruction offer for complex projects. You'll see scope, inclusions, exclusions, and pricing. Nothing vague, nothing hand-wavy.
05
ONBOARDING
Once you sign the agreement and the initial payment is received, you enter Everlux's project queue. Onboarding includes an orientation to your project team, expected timeline, communication cadence, and the tools we'll use to keep you in the loop.
06
DESIGN AND/OR BUILD
Design work, construction, or both — depending on your service. Amber leads design. Ben leads construction. You get regular updates, clear expectations, and one point of contact for questions. This is the longest stage — and the one we've built the most systems around.
07
CLOSEOUT
When the work is substantially complete, we do a thorough walkthrough, resolve remaining items, collect final payment, and hand over documentation. We don't disappear when the last wall is painted — we want you set up to actually live in what we built.
OUR COMMITMENTS
01
You'll hear back from us the same business day on any question during an active project. No ghost periods.
02
Every decision has a clear owner. You always know who to ask and who's responsible for what, whether it's design, construction, or a call we make together.
03
When we give you a number, we stand behind it. If something changes, you'll know about it before it shows up on an invoice — never after.
04
We stay engaged through closeout and after. Post-project questions, warranty items, or just needing advice — we're still here.
BEGIN
Tell us a little about what you're thinking. We will personally review every inquiry and follow up to schedule a consultation.
